About Scott's Lawn Care

Scott started his lawn care journey mowing lawns in his neighborhood. He quickly developed a customer base from his quality work and focus on personal relationships. By the time he graduated from high school, Scott’s Lawn Care was a full-time business. Scott went on to attend Anoka Technical College, where he became a certified outdoor power technician and a Briggs & Stratton master certified technician. Scott also attended Hennepin Technical College and received training in turf establishment and management. He became a certified commercial pesticide applicator in 1998.

In 2000, Scott moved to the city of Independence, where he currently resides. In 2002, he joined the Maple Plain Fire Department and is coming up on 25 years of service.

Scott and Jackie were married in 2006 and were blessed with twins, Joe and Lucy, in September of 2009 and Mack in May of 2015. When Scott isn’t operating the business, he enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering at the fire department and working on and riding his backyard train.
